My top pick won every single race going into the last race .. but I was off the board at 6/1 in the last race with my 2nd pick winning.

The winners all paid between $4.60 and $9.40. So... 13 for 16 yesterday at PID and Del Mar .. not bad.

I know, i know ... I'm in love with myself and need to find a mirror fast.
could you please post link to newspaper selections, i try to play PID one night a week

TVG had there 2nd of 3 contests today. It was at Woodbine.

I finished 4th ... because naturally they only pay the top 3 spots. Some 60/1 bomb has to stagger in for 2nd and ruin me in the last race.

With my 8 bets - I had back to back $30 winners .. and a $17.30 winner who won by a pole .. and it wasn't good enough.

Just more proof that I'm not the world's luckiest horse bettor to ever live as so many seem to believe.

If people only knew what I know about you, there would be more that feel you are insanely lucky.

I do give you props though on Volponi and Krispy Kreme.

Can we get a post when he is 1000 out of 1431 sometime in the near future? Or is this selective posting?

They've had only two so far ...

and I'm a combined 9-for-16 (56.3% wins) with the 9 winners paying an avg win mutual of $18.80

Of course I can't keep that kind of pace up for any extended period of time ... if I could I would be a billionaire soon enough.

The format forces you to find prices ... and 16 races is a very tiny sample size. I just wish there were contests where you have to bet 1,600 races instead of 8. That's the only gripe I have.

I'm sure you are a great handicapper, I'm just saying why only post when you do good, I think the Spa handicapping contest is a good test of one's skill, I wish you had played, infact I wish all the better cappers on here would have played. My only gripe is I wish it would have been expanded to 2 picks a day to allow more picks and a better average sample.

Well ... you talked me into it.

I will give a full update on how I do in the 3rd and final one ... be it a 0-for-8 performance or another tough beat gem.
