I just heard that there was concern as a young jock got severely injured yesterday, but it was on a horse in the last that dropped dead (didn't break down).
It looked like it got shut off from both sides on the pan shot .. but impossible to tell for sure when you have 8 horses seperated by 2.5 lengths. Chart caller probably just assumed.
