Assuming Rachel isn't there I would think Bullsbay or Cool Coal Man would be more likely to be bet to favoritism than either of those two. Either way it should be a pretty wide open board.

Highly touted coming from Dubai for McLaughlin, Asiatic Boy finished ahead of Bullsbay (Foster) and Cool Coal Man (Suburban) in each of his two most recent races. I'd expect him to be a shorter price than either of those two in what would be his third race in North America. Wasn't he the favorite in the Suburban, even though McLaughlin was concerned about (for these days) the quick turnarond?

I think Asiatic Boy would have won the Whitney had he not spiked a fever but that doesn't take away from his highest Beyer being a 98 while Bullsbay will have a 107 coming in and Cool Coal Man a 100-105 with both of their recent races being at Saratoga. I think both will take more money than Asiatic Boy.

107 also.

If Asiatic Boy was ever a good horse it was probably a few years ago.

That makes two made up single variant 107s this week that I disagree with.

Dumb question - what was up with Da'Tara?

Wow, CCM drove off and left them in the dust

The better question is what was up with that ridiculous call by Durkin? Could he have spent any more time telling us what a bad race Da Tara ran? Could he have sounded more dejected or shocked that Da Tara ran another horrible race? Its not like much was expected of this part of the entry anyways and doesnt Tom know that he still collects his bet because the other half of the entry blew the field away?

Man, you would have though that was Rachael Alexandra putting in such a shockingly bad effort.
