Jeter vs Dye for MVP

Allow me to give you the FULL stats

Jeter- .346 ba 13 Hr 92 Rbi 102 runs scored 29 stolen bases .423 obp
Dye- .322 ba 41 hr 112 rbi 93 runs scored 7 stolen bases .388 obp

So where do we begin to educate this poor clueless soul? First of all Jeter is outhitting him by 24 points and leading him by 35 points in on base percentage. Jeter also has 9 more runs scored as wellk as 22 more stolen bases.
While Dye does have more HR, if you really look at it Jeter is getting much more productive at bats, I say this because he hits 2nd in the lineup as opposed to cleanup or 3rd like Dye does which gives Jeter far fewer chances at Rbi's(as any educated baseball fan knows) yet he has 92 RBI's already.

Jeter has also delivered many clutch hits that won games and his fielding has been great.
Jeter's fielding percentage is .976
Dye's is .982

Thats pretty unreal considering that Dye plays right field and has FAR fewer chances to field balls as opposed to playing short and getting em hit at you all night long.

Its pretty obvious that of the two fine years that Jeter's really sticks out as being more productive and the overall better of the two both in the field and at the plate.
