Thanks Steve for the #9 in the last, managed to hit the pick4 X 3. Would have never used that horse with Amanda Casey. Also had the $700 tri in the 5th and the $400+ pk3 ending in the 6th. Fantastic day, great job of capping !!!

Pick 4 parlay for $1 would have been $241
Pick 6 parlay for $2 would have been $26,845

Default What a Day

Steve,

Let me join in the support and congrads for the great day of handicapping the horses. I had the P-4 as well, four different times + a couple of P-3's for a very good day. You the P-6 for $18K. We go after it again tomorrow.

Thanks for all of your time and effort keeping us on the straight and narrow.

Have a good week off!

Included in Steve's 96 $2 Pick 6 wagers was a 6 of 6 ticket, and eight 5 of 6 tickets. So he get his 6 of 6 payout and eight consos.

On a winning caveman, it works out that you get a conso for each losing horse on your ticket.

Thanks to all for the humbling comments...

Gleeful for everyone that benefited, and pleased how the day demonstrates that any afternoon can be special for a horseplayer.

Steve,
Listening to the replay at work this morning. Did you just say that you didn't get the ticket in on this Pick-6? Say it ain't so?

No. As I said, I was late getting to the studio and the 4th had gone off. Had the P4 for $5 which was fine.

Yep...I hear you there. I've actually borrowed my cubemate's phone to place a bet a few times in the last few weeks. Need to upgrade my phone and the plan since he is leaving at the end of the month.

Under the palm trees in the morning, followed by a liquid-ish lunch, capped off with a 19k score.

Your getting silly.
