Jonesboro was lucky to (barely) miss all that trouble caused by Stonehouse going into the first turn. A nice win by a well-managed horse.

Um, I don't think Stonehouse caused all that trouble, it looked more like Victory Pete

You are correct that Stonehouse wasn't the major guilty party. Looking at the replay and reading the chart, it looks like three horses caused trouble at that point. Stonehouse tried to bear out at the 15/16th pole. Victory Pete didn't want to turn left shortly after. The chart says that Red Hot N Gold checked hard at the 7/8th pole, but from the replay it looked like he was going to float Secret Getaway and Wyzata Bay wide before Victory Pete sent all three out to the middle of the track. I suppose the stewards didn't see much of a foul by Pete as they didn't kick him out of the 4th spot in the super.

Nice win by Jonesboro, who is indeed a well-managed horse. This should have been the race where everyone became enlightened that My Pal Charlie is not a very good horse. At all.
