Just for those of you wondering about white feet. It has nothing to do with temperment. For some reason, white feet tend to be much more sensitive. I know of a certain horse who has set the Saratoga track record for 5f on the turf three times in the last two years who can't run more than a few times a year becasue of this condition. He requires long breaks to allow the feet to heal. If it weren't for his feet, he'd likely have won a bunch more races.

Actually I think everything is going fairly 'cheap' for the select portion of the sale and there are a lot of RNA's.

The Flitabout clan is notorious for unsoundness... but if you took the ill-fated Ruffian out of it, do you think it would be talked about even half as much? Just curious... im not sure it would.

Actually, it's a wive's tale, but some people believe it. The color of a horse's hooves hasn't been shown to have anything to do with soundness. It's the structure of the hoof that causes problems.
