only defense i would think that didn't make this racism was cops not respecting a non-union private ambulance company v. city 'union' guys and thnk that arguement, if it existed would have been brought up by now?

I have been the only 7/8 gringo on many jobs.
My grandma was from Mexico.

And I dont prefer the white devil. The guys I
did work with worked their tails off. I could not
keep up with them.

There are a whole lot of hispanics here that are
absolutely the best workers. As a shaky generalization,
it is usually the older hispanics. The younger generation
seems not to quite have the work ethic of their parents imo.

When you live in a city that is 65% hispanic, you get used
to color. But I will say when I went to Chicago and was
the only white boy on a bus, and the others were not hispanic,
that was very odd. I had never been in that situation.
