VERY cool...

Any word on when he will be hitting the track?

I drive right past Belmont on my way to work everyday and would love the chance to watch some workouts.

I do miss Harold quite a bit, but I know he'll enjoy New York!

Was by Barn 60 this morning to see Harold go out. He's been out daily and his new morning rider likes him a lot saying about him, in slightly broken English, 'nice colt... very classy... moves good... little scared of the new places'. That struck me as a positive impression.

Those visiting Belmont will find him on the 'other side' of the big shed. Gary has all of the stalls on the trackside row and 4 stalls on the inside row where Dan Pietz is housed. Gary's assistant Paul Barone will be happy to arrange for Dee Tee visitors.

I stopped by the barn yesterday on my way to the track. Gary had just left, but Paul was very gracious and took time to "introduce" me to Harold Carmichael.

Paul said that Harold might breeze this morning (Sunday)

Indeed, Harold breezed a sharp :24.2 quarter as part of a tandem gallop with a big Prime Timber NY bred colt. When the pair broke off, Harold, who is considerably smaller than his workmate, was a half length behind. He dug in through the lane to get on even terms at the wire and got past him in the subsequent gallop-out eighth. While not a super serious effort, it struck me as a rather encouraging little display.
