Just as if LeBron was matched up with Howard but roaming around looking to provide weakside help (not double as you put it) he would be matched up with a center. Regardless of the defensive intent in the matchup, there is no doubt that he was covering the point guard. I wont even bother misquoting Jerry west or asking him if he meant Center or PG when he talked about 4 positions.

Just so you might some day understand the difference, the "weak side" is the opposite of where the ball is on the floor. When you rotate off the ball from the opposite side, that is considered "weak side" help. When you leave your man to help cover the post regardless of what side of the floor the ball or your "assignment" is on, thats called "doubling".
