Its not a bias opinon when the horse that gets put up was already passed and had no shot of winning the race. If anything it woke the horse up when HR came over and gave him a kiss.

So far today you've said that Street Sense won the '07 Travers by a measured half-length and then this gem. Is there any possibility of an encore?

Street sense was never in danger of losing that race and Ekati was asleep at the wheel when Harlem Rocker blew by him in the stretch, NO WAY IN HELL TALE OF EKATI WINS THAT RACE IF HE WAS NOT INTERFERED WITH. If anything it cost HR winning by open lengths. The DQ was a complete joke.

I never said that but ill say this, if Musket Man didnt check down on the rail around the far turn and lose 2-3 lengths I think RA would of had some real competition at the wire. You figure while she was getting the jump on them MM was having trouble getting through on the rail and still only lost by a length.

I think we could call it a length and a half. But do the math, losses three on the turn, on the rail which was completely dead, loses by length and a half. If he was rolling on the turn he may have won the race.

or maybe not. the best horse won. musket man will win others, but i think the longer distances are what cost him in these last two-that and stiffer competition.

Yeah...you gotta love Triple Crown times when not only everyone comes out of the woodwork, but they're all experts as well.

Let me remember the three things I've learned today:

1. Street Sense won by a measured half-length in the Travers. Apparently it just took Calvin a quarter of a mile to get the measurement.

2. That despite being completely shut off with over a furlong to go Tale of Ekati was not ever going to beat Harlem Rocker. I guess it doesn't matter that TOE continued to close and missed by a nose.

3. That Musket Man's "tough" trip in the Preakness MAY have cost him the victory. Outstanding.

It's been a great day.

CORRECT!

I read alot on here and post sporadicly and I thought for a minute you were a bright one. Guess I was wrong, you are a complete idiot.

To think Tale of Ekati would of one that race if not interfered you are mental 150% fact TOE had NO SHOT OF WINNING

Street sense was never in doubt oh wow he didnt blow by grasshopper who had it his own way to a 24 quater and 115 middle 3/4s, SS had his eye on him the hole time, never in doubt

and MM who damn near had to stop around the far turn as RA hit her best stride still only gets beat a little more than a length, and if he doesnt check around the far turn he still has no shot to win??????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????

You picked the wrong fight here old man, think you need to get a checkup dont sound like your thinking too straight

Prado sold that DQ well to his credit, another thing is Harlem Rocker has a tendency to pull himself up when he gets the lead. Once again this DQ would be a moot point for me if the stewards were consistent to the non DQ with a comparable incident that happened earlier in the week when a horse interfered with a Contessa horse ridden by one of the Morales boys. Given what happened or didn't happen in that race, it made this decision a bad one if one were to expect some sort of consistency from the stewards.
