![]() Lotta good an organized group did for Bay Meadows... these people don't want to own race tracks, they want to own LAND that can be sold at a profit. Bay Meadows is nothing but a pile of scrap at this point and if they tear down Hollywood Park, that's all it will be too.
I'm guessing Hollywood has a few more years left, unless the track is losing money it's still more profitable than scrap metal that's only worth a dollar a pound... once the economy turns Hollywood will be gone, too. I worry about California racing in the years to come...

I had heard that Los Al was going to be rebuilt with a one mile course with turf or maybe fairplex. |
