I know I'm a homer but there has been just EPIC games in the Big East this year.

Too bad my team still sucks.

The national championship game is today. UNC vs. Oklahoma.

Griffin is a monster. I read some numbers on him (strength, standing vertical).
He may enter the NBA as the strongest player.
Carlos Boozer amped up and on roids.
If he can capture Boozer's range.... holy schnikes.
He does have a knee injury but it appears to be OK.
Cannon is right on him. Clear #1 and a franchise type
guy to boot. No matter what happens today.

It will be very interesting to see where Thabeet goes,
and Rubio from Spain.

He's got the most rebounds in a single season since 1984 going into today. The thing with him is he's so efficient. Doesn't have to take 20 shots a game to get his points.

I read that his flexibility is very good.
He has some big muscles and it seems
to inhibit some guys but apparently not him.

He does appear to tire rather quickly for
all the workouts he partakes in. Maybe too much
strength stuff and not enough endurance. And his
defense is lazy, but this is very easy to fix.
His arms do not appear to be excessively long,
but his hands are very good and extremely strong
so this helps.

imo totally the Blake Griffin draft.

Maybe Cannon's cuz has a shot at him...

Shaq may be the strongest person in the US let alone the NBA.
Griffin is a lock to be the number 1 pick. Rubio may not declare this year.
This is a terrible draft class. Turrable as Charles Barkley says

That's a shame. I'm sure the people of Detroit were expecting some people in town next weekend for the event. They'll be upset the event was cancelled.

Oklahoma +305
150/457.50

Hoping for a Carmelo-like takeover.

Trojans were playing some good ball.

No surprise that the squad which took them out made it to the final weekend.

Would luv to see them and Nova play for the title...

The closest any team was to UNC at the finish was 12 points. That was Oklahoma. UNC also scored 11 fewer points in that game than they did in any other game.

well, that 12 point margin was very deceiving. That game was no more compelling than the Villanova or Mich State games.
