Somebody will pick him because he's 7 feet tall.... and waste a pick on him (unless they want to pay to have him learn in Europe first).

This is ridiculous. Three straight years OSU loses a freshman big man. Mullens is far less ready than Kosta Koufos was and he was nowhere near ready himself. Koufos did go 23rd in the draft or something to Utah and did get a bit of playing time when all their players were injured...I think it's nuts however for Mullens to go.

(I read somewhere Matta perhaps cut his playing time simply to get him to stay past his freshman year...guess that backfired!!)

Matta cut his playing time because Lauderdale was working harder in practice and in games than him. Koufos was nowhere near ready for the NBA, Mullens is less ready (at least Koufos could shoot outside of 2 feet from the basket).

This guy is a pos. Watched his antics on the court towards the end. Sluggish, no sense of urgency. NOT a team player. His eyes were on the prize, NBA. I don't care that he had a rough childhood, etc.. Heck, he has been living in the same town as me for a while. I PERSONALLY SAW HIM filling up the gas tank on this $50,000 ride when he was a senior in High School. Tall, yes. Great player, to be determined. In the 8th grade OSU had their eyes on him. He talked to coaches all the time from then till now. Rod Parsley (Preacher at World Harvest) TOOK HIM UNDER HIS WING and what did BJ do? Blew him off when the $ showed up.
