IEAH buys 50% of I Want Revenge

Being left handed I realize that I think differently than many but....
Other than it being IEAH that is the interested buyer...what is the big deal...why the rolling of the eyes...
The current owner wants to lock in a profit... is that such a bad thing??

The bad thing is he's in the mortgage business in Los Angeles. I think IEAH is a perfect union for the guy.

I don't think they should be banned. I'd prefer a monthly waterboarding live on ESPN.

Why would you ban anyone who employees people and promotes racing.. Seriously I would love to sell 50% of my Gotham winner for 2 mil..to any fn body..lol

you missed my whole point....what's the big deal if IEAH or anyone else wants to buy an interest in a horse when the current owner clearly wants to sell a part of him

Like when that guy was trying to sell his 2% stake in Bwana Bull on Ebay by breaking it up into .05% shares for like 2K a pop right before the Derby - lolerz, that was rich

I don't care if he makes a $5 profit or a $50 mil profit, that's not the point. I just get annoyed that every time a horse shows he might have talent (might being the operative word), from a sharp maiden performance to a nice prep score, IEAH or Godolphin has to buy them. At the rate they're going, they might as well offer the two groups a co-sponsorship deal for the Derby and give them each 10 slots to run horses in.

i agree...as soon as IEAH got the taste of fame w/ the 3YO's last year in big brown its like he refuses to go to the prom empty handed EVER again. Good for the owners, i hope they overcharge the hell out of IEAH, just for the right to retain a 25% share in a horse, hope the current owners like the lime light, b/c there will no shortage of it wants ivarone and the boys get the camera on him

i think it's like the yankees and their big budget. most teams have to work to get to the top, but some just want to buy their way there. there's nothing inherently wrong about it, but it's less than enjoyable for many.

no one is saying don't sell, don't buy. but ieah is not viewed in a great light, so i'm not surprised anyone would be unhappy that they're purchasing another prospect.

If it doesn't work out for them, they can always ask the Government for bail out money, can't they???
