Back in the good ol' days (geezer talk coming) lots of good horses ran on both turf and dirt and were top class on both. Kelso, Ack Ack, Cougar II, Exceller, John Henry, Perrault (won the Hollywood Gold Cup and Arlington Million in the same year), Greinton, ..., Einstein's dad Spend a Buck handled dirt just fine, you know. |
