Vineyard Haven did not look very good here, looks like Dettori knew what he was doing choosing Desert Party.

Ever seen a horse climbing before? That was what Vineyard Haven was doing all down the backstretch, lifting his knees up so high that he looked like a trotter breaking stride. Usually indicates the horse can't get traction on the surface. It's very tiring for the horse, so not surprisingly he flattens out late.

I thought it looked more like he was cross-firing.
