I'm sorry that sarcasm doesn't translate well.

I will bet that Mclaughlin will win a derby before Pletcher and Frankel.

Interesting prop... Frankel doesn't get enough 3-year-olds, McLaughlin doesn't get the better ones (Dubai) so I would say Pletcher wins it first out them, but not by a wide margin.

Cant really say. Pletcher has had some chances of late and could not deliver but he could surely learn from his mistakes in the past. Of the three Mclaughlin was the closest to win it with closing argument coming second at 70-1.

He might but it will be mitigated (in your eyes, as per your post) by the being for a horse owned by "Dubai Interests" like Darley, Shadwell or others.

What does the dubai guys have anything to do with it. Many of Pletcher and Frankels partners have deep pockets too like Tabor and Judmonte. If the dubai folk can just "buy" thier derby then they would have done it years ago.

KG's post about McLaughlin being "due" refereed to "Dubai" as having to pay their dues. I was responding to his post. Odds are that if they win it will be with a horse like Bernardini who stayed in the US, not a horse that goes to Dubai. If one of McLaughlin's late developing types comes to hand in Dec for Darley it will be too late to send him to Dubai. I think that the odds are that if Sh. Mo wins the Derby it will be with a US based colt.

I have an idea for myself. Not much...

People should worship the "he is due" method.
They should perpetuate this method as a
very critical angle.

Baffert got tired of winning them so he
is giving the ones that are due a chance.
So throw out his Egyptian horse.
