But to fire him in a season where they started 11-1, with losing their 2 best pass rushers before the season and then the whole Plax situation is a bit unfair. The Mara's are usually a pretty classy/loyal group and wouldn't have dumped Coughlin just to bring in Spags (if that's what you were thinking) or anyone else.

Wellington Mara was - not sure of the new breed , and don't forget the younger Tischs have a say now as well they won't be patient , if tom doesn't win a playoff game next year , they will buy him out IMO
