why not box your top 2 for extra $? I can understand using a horse only 2nd but can't see how you reason taking 2 for top position and 2 others for 2nd. Perfect example IMO is the 6 in the 2nd race at Aqu. If you watch his past races he is a hanger in that he has no problem being 2nd but refuses to lead. He was hanging behind the front runner down the stretch and as soon as a closer got past he hung behind that one. That 1 I can see using only for a minor spot but liking 2 horses to win and playing ex's w/o using your A horses for 2nd makes no sense IMO. GL today nonetheless but don't try to shake a losing streak by throwing darts.

i understand what you are saying, however my top 2 usually does'nt pay the best when they come in together, and i dropped my place bets for now. As far as throwing darts, i handicap my races and know what my last wager is of the day before i place my first wager of the day. i know what my losses are for the day if i don't cash a ticket. I'm not a big bettor but come last day of year I'll be ahead of most bettors with just a small profit.

Well hats off to you as you are playing at a disadvantage to start with. W/O knowing scratches it's more difficult to pace a race and by having bets set in stone you're unable to adapt to any track biases that may be observed , conditions such as a sloppy track and to avoid horses that warm up looking like donkeys.

if you have watch my posting you will notice if i have a scratch i take the refund and leave what's left of the bet intact. Now i check the weather in NY
and slight flurries and should be fast track. I'm at a disadvantage because i'm over the road driver so I'm rarely sitting in front of computer watching live racing, however even if i am i bet the same. I value your opinion because you seem to how a good knowledge of wagering, but i bet in the way that works for me and my budget, and very rarely play flyer bets , and never watch the green monster odds board to try and fine something. Good luck to you. What
i post on here i bet with real money. Not just stating big bets that i'm not betting for real.

being up a grand 19 days into the year puts you ahead of 99,999%
of the bettors so you are to be commended. I'll join you in the near future but not as big of winnings.
