Of course, employing the "hooves multiple darts per race approach does have its privileges"..............signed.................mo st everyone.
He got beat by the 1 horse(Cee Bargara.) Patches already won at the level that the #1 horse hasn't been able to win at. He just wasn't ready, or re-injured. There were a couple in here that had much more class, but where did they finish? Behind him. As I mentioned before, the barn is one of the best with comebackers. They come back sharp, but not this one. I asked if he was ready, and they said he was ready. I disagree totally about the distance being a concern. Most big closers are better at a mile. That's one of the reasons I liked him. I thought it was less likely that we would get a super-slow pace going a mile. I was right about that. He got a good pace for him. He's a big horse. You're bringing up 1 pound in weight change? The 2 hole didn't bother me, because I new he was gunna be last, and make his outside move. Everything went like I had expected, but he wasn't ready(or he re-injured something.) The race was there to be won. He didn't go on. If you want to sell the winner as being better, go ahead. I know the 1 horse isn't better. Hey, he didn't take money. Probably wasn't ready. Most of the time, this barn's winners get bet. There were things I didn't like. That was #1 on the list. You're right. Can't complain when an 11-1 shot hangs. Connections weren't backing it at the windows. So, can't be that surprised he hung. You didn't have a selection in the race. So, I don't know why you're coming in to late quarterback. I could tear up any selection 4 or 5 hours after it loses. That's easy.

Scuds must be in a good mood because the real Scuds goes all gangsta on responses like BBB's.....

No, that would be me. I better stock up on some signers in the next two weeks.

and I actually laughed at BBB's post. The guy has on okay opinion, but the other half of the battle (the way in which he bets) is nothing short of laughable.

I don't keep track of people that well on here. I actually thought it was the guy who follows(or announces) at Portland Meadows. I vaguely remember who it is now, though. I don't keep grudges etc. very well. I remember the ones I like the most though.

Are you betting 99-1 shots blindly?

I am exaggerating obviously but just not confident, thought I had two winners this weekend and both of them were victims of bad rides, part of the game I guess

One was on that Pee-Stream Turf Course though. You can't be sure of a decent trip on that tight turf course, and the jock you mentioned is impossible to rely on. His riding is about as stable as his Venezuelan President(or whatever title he goes by.)

Reduce your bets(don't raise them.) Obviously, suggesting horses like patches doesn't help you...LOL.....OMG....I got a plan. I'm losing, but I ain't losing much. When I do better, then it will actually matter(instead of just replacing money I lost.)

Was a bit blown away by your post. It takes some inventive handicapping to predict that 5yo Patch of Blue would run any differently than he did.

Will agree that plodders have a better chance at eight panels than nine but playing a plodder with the rail up is seldom good business.

The winner is a graded stakeswinner who had twice run huge seconds in this class and needed his last, when given the race. It was a hard race, but a logical sequence and would not have replied if we had not posted a prerace opinion.

Mandella is a good off the shelf trainer because of his stock. No hard feelings. bbb

Well, at least we now know the secret to your pretentious usage of the word " we "......you clearly have another member of your supposed team posting here.....as YOU didn't post anything close to a prerace opinion.
