not surprised. but you have to wonder when a coach gets axed, do they really think there's a better coach out there? apparently they do.....gee, and with cutler having a stronger arm than elway, they had to have been playoff bound.

I thought for sure that he'd get a pass based solely on his RB's injury situation. The fact that the owner probably had to keep reading/hearing about the 4-8 Charger's backdooring their way in, sealed the fate of Shanny.

I wonder who they are looking at for a replacement. It has to be someone that is defensive minded as they already have a few nice peices to the puzzle on the offensive side of the ball.

Unfortunately, I don't think the Glassers give a rat's asz about the team as long as the seats are full. He definitely needs to go but unless they can land Shanny, I don't see a better prospect. Plus you can count the minutes until Monty Kifin bails, and with huge holes at QB, WR and an aging D, it isn't the most appealing job out there.

kiffin is definitely gone. tenn's former DC was named to lsu yesterday. which made me happy!
