EXACTLY!!! I dont understand why people think that race was loaded with speed?? I picked BBJ based on his advantage on the front end and Flores took it to his favor. Anyone else who wanted to dance with BBJ on the front was probably asking for suicide anyways.

Running rabbits is a cowards way of keeping the pace fast.

Golden Spike wins on the front end and he must of changed his mind about trying to win the race when the gate opened.

In reference to the race you mentioned.
1)He was 4.5 lengths behind the leader at the first call.
2)He was midpack in a 6 horse field before he made a middle move.
3)That means he was working around 23'1 for the first call and 45'1 for the second. no where near a fast pace
4) He beat a **** field that day
5)WHy are we even considering Golden SPikeS? Was he even a contender yesterday?
6) He ran beter than expected yesterday. I was expecting a DNF
