Chuck, I'm still a registered Republican, so you're just gonna have to chalk me up to naive rather than partisan.

I'm sure it was that dang tricky Fitzergerald just trying to throw me off the trail - saying there are no allegations whatsoever about Obamas behaviour, when he warned the media not to cast aspersions on people just because they are named here - and when he quoted Blago as cursing Obama out for not being willing to pay to play

The revealing truth about Obama and team, and the content of all those conversations, has to be on the verge of being exposed. Obama already wanted to reveal, but the prosecutor wouldn't let him. It's a cover up!
You took a shot at the RNC as though they were the ones who created this story. Fitzgerald told the media not to read too much into the allegations which means that Obama isnt under investigation. That doesnt mean that he did not have some knowledge of what was going on and the initial reaction of his people was to lie. There are still a lot of things that we do not yet know and when (if) it comes out then we can all stop speculating. but the posture that you seemed to be taking was that this was a non story when it most certainly isnt.

Yes, I took a shot at RNC (not all Republicans) for putting out an internet ad deliberately whipping up unsubstantiated doubt and frenzy, trying to create issues that Fitzgerald had already addressed as non-issues.

Really, someone should tell the RNC the election is over, they can stop the ridiculous attack ads. McCain and Gingrich tried to.

It's a heck of a great story, but according to what the man who has heard all the tapes and has all the information, Fitzgerald, has said publically, the story is about Blagojevich, not Obama.

Tonight some copycat tried to throw a shoe at the New York Transit Board during a public meeting. They grabbed him before he could get the round off

The NY transit board probably deserves it

I'm talking about the internet attack ad the RNC released the day Fitzgerald announced the Blago thing.

Blago and Obama were not members of the same affiliation with the "Chicago machine".
