![]() I don't think he's the best since Secretariat, but I think he's the best since Bid....I really do....he has only scratched the surface as far as what he is capable of, and the reason I think he is better than Discreet Cat is because he has less weaknesses than DC has...I love DC too, but he has some AWFUL action in front and is very unsound - thus he can and probably will go bad soon....Bernardini is perfect in so many ways...looks, ability, pedigree, and his stride is as good as they come on a racehorse...effortless poetry....that is why I think he is just a genuinenly better horse than DC - but I believe those two are the best horses in the world...I really do.......I would rate Hurricane Run third...
No Secreatriat comparisons here...I love Bernardini but I am also very realistic....I also believe right now that Ruffian and Seattle Slew were better horses - both from the 70s....but Bernardini could change my mind if he continues to be spectacular and continues to improve - which he will continue to improve...there is no doubt about that..... |
