![]() Going to play this one for real tonight..
Race 5 The 2 Rm Trace a Frame should break the gate down and hopefully hold on here coming out of a decent 220yd effort on Halloween. If she is unable to hold on the logical closer will be Paul Jones' charge breaking out of the 7 hole. Use 2-7 Race 6 Arabians go 7/8ths of a mile here. I always say when they run as slow as arabians do, there's no use using speed figures. My dad taught me early on to look for the track abbreviation of "DEL" in the pp's of an Arabian race. Delaware horses coming in seem a bit classier and generally have an edge here. Two horses fit this bill in the 6 and 7. I'll also throw in Charles Treece's filly in the 5. Use 5-6-7 Race 7 Shortest ML Favorite of the night comes here in the 8 He Needs Checking. If this horse breaks at all he wins for fun. Draws an advantagous outside post here and if you were going to try to beat him you'd have to go DEEP. Single here with the 8 Race 8 The consolation race for the deuce. Treece's Hard Hitting (#7) and the 10 Vrrroom stand out among the rest here. One other horse intrigues me that I'll use is the 3 Oh So Chilly (kind of like my handicapping lately) who sits at 10-1 ML. You can't usually go wrong with Paul Jones/Ramon Sanchez. But his last race is what I'm using here as my case in that he broke through the gate which usually wipes out any chance but still managed to run a credible race in defeat. Eligible to move up here. Use 3-7-10 Race 9 Race goes through either 5 Tres Passes or the 10 Foose. I LOVE Foose in this spot but I can't pull the trigger and leave the hot horse out here. Use 5-10 Race 10 A real 300 yard cluster**** to close the card. The more I looked at it, the more I landed on the obvious horses. I fear the 2 will bounce a bit here off his last effort and will fade a bit late. The 5 Super Social piqued my interest a bit but I'm not too confident in the jock. Will use anyhow at 8-1. Landed on the 5-7-9 $216 Ticket 5: 2,7 6: 5,6,7 7: 8 8: 3,7,10 9: 5,10 10: 5,7,9 Good luck to all playing! This sort of carryover is super-rare down here. |

![]() Don't mean to hijack the thread but I like the 9 Abajos Doll in race 9 at Delta for Terry Vance, 25-1
