Appreciate the selections of CD and CRC but realistically there is no way for many of us to wager on those tracks...

Thanks,

There has been little movement, but reports are that CDI is at least talking to TGH now which represents progress.

And while I appreciate that it's an inconvenience for you to bet Calder and Churchill where you are, it's as much of one for those of us outside California to bet Hollywood (and Santa Anita next month)... Should I stop doing selections for Hollywood because of that?

I wouldn't stop doing your handicapping for these issues... It's good to stay on top of the game in California. Plus, everyone can still bet at the track.

The Lukas horse in the first is 3-1. At the price there is good value. I expected 8-5.

Default Race 1 - Churchill Downs

The #4 (Diva's Gold) made a closing move when he hit the top of the stretch to hit the winners circle.

The #7 (Why Now) had the lead the whole way around the track and lost it in the final furlong. She held on for 2nd.

The #8 (Spoiler Now) completed the trifecta, but was never a factor.

1 for 1 in the P4

Default Race 2 - Churchill Downs

The #6 (Yikes) ran away with race. Pounced on the leaders before the quarter pole and nobody touched her.

Track seems to be running very fair right now.

Steve:

By no way was my comment meant that you should stop or even consider stop making your selections. I just wanted to ask where we stand in the negotiations and to state that because of this mess it is hard for some of us to make wagers on certain tracks given how they wager and where they live.
I am sorry if you thought for a second if i was making a negative comment on you putting up selections.

P..

No apology necessary as I didn't construe it that way at all... This has been coming up on ATR regularly and I'm trying to be fair to interested parties in all parts of the country that follow racing. I have something I could say about the chest-beating group that puts themselves ahead of everything else in the game, but don't want to get into that here and now. Suffice to say that I'd like to see all parties satisfied as these complex negotiations continue throughout the industry.
