He's listed as the trainer for 16 Futurity-nominated colts and eight Debutante-nominated fillies this year. He was asked recently how this crop of 2-year-olds stacks up to past seasons. "You know when you've got some good 2-year-olds?" Baffert said. "I had a colonoscopy a while ago. They found one polyp and two jockey agents."
