Todd Palin has sat in on many meetings with Palin, is individually copied on governmental e-mails. You get the one, you probably get the other, even if you didn't elect him. He's right there helping her make decisions, and has acted on her behalf "unofficially officially".
As a long-time registered Republican who has finally had enough, all I can say is that a vote for Palin is a vote rewarding mediocrity and incompetence at the highest levels. It's going to get very ugly this week. McCain is losing so badly, he has nothing left to lose. There will be endless flaming bags of horse sh-t flung by the GOP this week at Obama, in a desperate hope something sticks.

Although Palin's repeatedly pronouncing it nuk-u-lar several times in the debate was nearly enough on it's own merit. And, I forgot to add .... MUSLIMS! OMG, those folks believe in God, and believe Abraham, Moses and Jesus were prophets OMG !

you might want to avoid bringing up his christian minister in the same breath, though. did b. wayne hughes give you the b.o. insight? or is that your own contribution to thoughtful political dialogue? well done in either case. i could feel my i.q. drop as i read it. i'm now tempted to watch fox. |

If I have to look at any of them or their spouses for the next 4 years, I pick Todd.

No I didnt ask Mr Hughes about politics per say just the bailout and being that he is a self made man I thought his views would be insightfull and they were. The Obama insight should seem a little more importanat to you than it does , I just cant believe people are so willing to give this man a vote when he hasnt done jack shyte as a Senator and his ties to people I wouldnt want to be known for knowing just dont seem to matter .

I can't believe that people who have the privilege of voting, rather than doing their own independent education regarding candidates, apparently find it easier to believe any rumor that blows through the space between their ears.

I have researched Mr Obama , I have looked at his record in the senate and what he did before he was elected to the Senate , I cannot find one thing of a substance that he has done while an elected offical. So far I have found not one peice of legislation that he is responsible for . He did work with law enforcement agency's to get confessions taped for all capital cases. He partnered on a bill to get WMD in Eastern Europe and Russia destroyed and created a website to track Federal Spending. He was the first to raise the threat of avian flu on the house floor and he worked to eliminate gifts of travel on corprate jets to members of congress. Thats it that is all he has done while being a Senator , now tell me he is qaulified to run the country on that modest resume , he can have your vote but he isnt getting mine.

when did this happen? if true, why would it matter? i know you have to be 35 and born in the country to be president, i wasn't aware tho that there were religious requirements as well.

I don't care if Obama is Muslim. He's obviously a smart man with the right credentials to lead this country. Why would it matter what religion he is? He could be atheist for all I care.
It's like saying that if you're a Muslim President, you're automatically going to become friends with terrorists, which is not true. |

It happened when Stephonopolouse(sp) interviewed him , the interviewer said and I quote " Senator McCain has never questioned your religious faith and Obama answered you are right he has never questioned my Muslim faith and the interviewer said you mean your Christain faith and Obama replied oh yes my Christain faith." LOL I think I saw it on MSNBC the morning after the interview , but believe me you will be hell bent to find it now , in fact a few hours after MSNBA was running it that part of the interview went POOF. You may have to look on YOUTUBE. The guy is a farce , there are no two ways about it , and it does matter and it should matter to you .

And your posts give no hope for the future and the youth of this country as you are so blindly led by someone who has done nothing and stood for even less , a person who has no leadership background and no platform to stand on but "CHANGE" . Yes all this non-sense about the man saying he is Muslim , his family ties to Muslims who have killed Christains in Africa , his knowing a guy who likes to make bombs and blow things up so people will see how right he is and his own preacher hating on white people. But none of this is a big deal right ? You are willing to let him lead us as a people , to let all this other stuff just be pushed aside because he is for change.
