Two very PAINFUL years here.

I guess it's partially mitigated for me this year knowing that the gruesome bullpen we were working with had no shot of winning the World Series.

Look at the bright side, Minaya (who should have been fired first thing this morning) will end up signing K-Rod for astronomical dollars.

Krod will be a Met next year? That may not be a great thing. They should trade Reyes and some fillers to the Reds for Cordero and Brandon Phillips. Sign Texiera, let Delgado go, Let Fernando martinez have a shot at left or sign a stopgap one year vet to keep the seat warm. Get a good defensive SS like McDonald from Toronto and find some solid bullpen arms. I know this may be impossible but they need to do something.

Or simply acquire Velez from the Giants and let him play 2nd and pitch middle relief (scuds says he has a hell of an arm too)

Sorry Luis Castillo will be occupying that spot for 3 more years.

Exactly, just end the pain now. That bullpen made it embarassing to be out cheering for the team. And the rotation wouldn't have been setup to be able to ride Johan through the playoffs which was their only chance. I'm just glad we didn't foolishly trade away Niese or Fernando Martinez to get some journeymen that might have got us to the playoffs where there was no way they would have won them.
