No thoughts, as I have very limited memory of that day. My last memory was being at my buddies house throwing down beers and vodka about 3-4 hours before the accident. For the most part, when I was drinking, I was a black out drinker. Only recollections from after the accident was hearing my cell phone ring while I was in the back of the ambulance in route to the hospital. Only reason I remember that was because my sister reminded me she called that night to tell me something and that was how my family found out about the accident. The paramedics had been unable to reach my parents. Only other thing I recall is the doctor at the hospital telling me he was giving me a shot in my ear. Basically the next 3 days I spent in ICU are pretty much a blur with little memory.

As far as injuries, I fractured my neck in 3 places and nearly severed my left ear. It took them almost 2 hours to stitch my ear back together. I still to this day have very little feeling in that ear, but thankfully my hearing was not affected.

Hey thanks.

I guess it's better you didn't have consciousness through this thing.

I would have to think they told you how lucky you were..how did you escape getting crushed in that thing?

Im very grateful I didn't have consciousness. My parents later told me that the paramedics on the scene and the state trooper told them that there was no way in the world I should have survived. Said they have never seen anyone survive a crash like that. As far as why and how I survived...I believe the big fella upstairs wasn't quite ready for me to come hang out with him. I'm thinking he had better plans left for me here.
