Wink sabathia made pujols look silly!

In case you cub fans missed it, sabathia had a no hitter through the 6th. Then to show how dominating he has been, he struck pujols out on four pitches. On the last pitch, pujols threw his bat at the ball. I've never seen pujols look that bad! Were talking about someone who has only stuck out 31 times this year. Sabathia is now 4-0 with 3 complete games. Hes the real deal and also can hit and your bullpen gets the day off when he pitches. Great move by the brewers. By the way cardinals you get sheets tonight. Have fun. Oh yeah cubbies nice win, but enjoy playing the fish. Be nice to try and beat someone other than a team who is barely .500. Oh yeah didn't the bartman incident happen during a game against the fish?

And with the Brewers having little or no chance of resigning CC, they aren't going to be too worried about pitch count or overuse.

oh wiser one..me thinks the Brewers really just want to get there. Of course, they will deny that, but...

I'll make a rare comment. Yes you are correct in the large difference between regular season CC and post season Cease last year. But remember CC faced major league teams in post season last year (Yankees/Red Sox). This year in the first round he'd basically be playing a AA caliber team most likely. If Brewers do win division, and wild card comes out of central then Brewers will play a sub .500 Dodgers or D-Backs with lineups similar to Akron Aeros...he'll probably be fine.

Reminds me of '84 when Sutcliffe traded and wins Cy Young in partial season with Cubs. Could happen this year as well as the Fat one could go 12-1 or 13-2 with Brewers. I'm excited to get LaPorta, but with Dellucci entrenched, he'll be 29 before he can crack the major league roster. I'll leave before any monitors come after me.

That's a good point I failed to recognize.

Check out his pitch counts last 3 complete games

106,110,122
Very efficient

Not really overusing him just yet, but they will not be afraid to overuse him since the chance of signing him is less than 10%.

HOW about RYAN BRAUN? Love the swagger.

Lou- The doorbell is ringing very loudly and next week you will have to answer it

Don't get cocky Sean...Cubs have a good team dude...pulling for the Crew, but it's not going to be easy.

I agree that the Cubs have a very very good team, but they simply can't win on the road. They are 8 games under .500 on the road. Lots of baseball to play and nothing with the Crew has or ever will be easy, but the Crew has more confidence now with the addition of CC and seem to have a little swagger. CC pitches monday and sheets/zambrano on Tuesday. Will be there Tues, Thurs. Can't wait

Favre to tampa?

Can't see Favre agreeing to either really the Jets or Tampa and I think the circus will begin either Sunday or Monday if Favre shows up for Camp

After playing 3 games with that organization he will be begging to go back into retirement.
