![]() Come on, guys. Watchmon's pedigree isn't all that bad. Sire has a Derby winner and a champion filly on his CV. Dam a SW by Notebook, a respected regional sire, from a family with plenty of blacktype. In a regional market like New York, he'd fit in quite well. His physical attributes (or lack thereof) would be the decider.
Now a horse like Lava Man would be a hard sell as a sire prospect anywhere - his sire's okay, but his damline is dead for generations back. Good thing he's a gelding. |

![]() Cornell needs to review what they do as well. They just had one loon employee with a cozy job there try to get rich quick off one of THEIR horses, Watchmon. A lot more responsibility from those cushy Cornell folks is needed.
