Interesting that Asmussen sends Lantana Mob here and sent J Be K to the Jersey Shore.

Rooting for Freedom Afleet in the Azalea (my brothers horse), and taking Rockerfeller to pull the upset as well as Rgirldoesntbluff. hometeam trainers might have edge over the shippers

This has been one of my favorite cards of the year the last few years. I applaud Calder for coming up with this concept. I hope all the news of progress on the ADW agreement with the horsemen's group is for real. It would be a shame to be shutout on wagering on this card.

Thunderstorms probably?

I can start with the Azalea(7th), an interesting race where I won't attempt as much as an exacta. I see Dite Moi likes Calder and is bred for possible wet conditions, trained by Kirk Ziadie.

Carson's Legacy in the Carryback, if wet

Going to pass the Princess Rooney

Smile Sprint is too interesting to pass, will Super box Ravalo, Indian Chant, Benny the Bull and Rockerfeller

Indyanne is a very nice horse. I thought she was by far the best of the day yesterday.

Jon White had a short interview with Greg Gilchrist on HRTV after the race. He said she'll be pointed to the Test at Saratoga. You have to love Gilchrist for shipping his horses around the country and putting them in the spotlight against much tougher fields than they'd face at home in California.

So you'd keep horses like Lost in the Fog and Indyanne in California even though there's much more prestige and money elsewhere? He's just doing what any trainer with half a brain would do with horses that good.

lantana mob is owned by vinery--vinery pulled all their horses from asmussen the other day, and gave them to three or four different trainers.
