You've told us who you don't like, and maybe you have a great understanding of what horses to throw out. But who do you like in these two races, the 7th and 10th, to put up against my Stalingrad and Bayou's Lassie? |

![]() Steve, thanks for the picks. In the early p-4, it seems your picks are for races 1,2,4, and 5 and the p-4 starts with race 2.
Have a great Belmont day!!! Bulllea |

READY’S ECHO (#9) Not often that you see this combination with a morning line odds of 30-1; void of early speed, this “Silky Sullivan” like runner comes far off the pace & will be flying late in the stretch, the “value play” in this race. TALE OF EKATI (#7) No factor 4th in the Kentucky Derby, this Barclay Tagg trainee is two for two over the Belmont strip; breeding wise, he doesn’t look like he wants the distance on paper; But figures in the exotics with his “back” class. DENIS OF CORK (#4) Rallied from dead last in the Kentucky to be a no factor 3rd with a up the rail trip; gets jockey switch today from Calvin Borel to Robbie Albarado & the five week break between races; could set a good trip stalking behind the leaders.

![]() I'm not going to try to beat Indian Blessing or Big Brown today.. both will roll (says the guy talking about an even odds and 2/5 horse in their respective races
![]() I like Lady of Venice a lot in the Just a Game. I do think Benny the Bull and Ready's Image are beatable favorites today. As for the Manhattan... good luck!

If you want to know who I like there are video analyses of every stake on DRF Plus that I did with Dan Illman. Bayou's Lassie rolled on a speed favoring turf versus considerably weaker horses in her last race and faces, at least, stalking pressure from the much better Bit of Whimsey. She can't deal with her as they turn for home and she certainly can't deal with Lady of Venice and Criminologist later. Stalingrad has had perfect trips in his last two races against considerably weaker. I respect the idea of taking an up and comer, if in fact that is true about your selection, but to me he is a horse with dramatically dressed up form that I would be looking to bet against versus a much weaker field. Simply said....he isn't as good as he looks and even at face value he doesn't look good enough to compete here.
