and the go ahead?

With this 3rd period -- the score is not even close to reflective of what's going on in this game. Pittsburgh is lucky they are still within 2 goals.

Shots on goal for the period is something like 13-1, maybe 13-2.

This is a great game, and an exceptional period.

Supposedly the Blackhawks are going to be playing in Wrigley Field this next year, if that happens, I will definitely be going to that

I heard that Yankee Stadium couldn't hold the game because of "logistical" concerns so it was on at Wrigley..Hawks vs Wings

i would like to see the nhl take commercials timeouts out of the game, put them between periods much like soccer. The games would flow that much better

Maybe so, but as it is they flow way better than basketball or football.

Does "logistical" = wrecking ball?

Yeah, that was it. There were allegedly answers for both but I don't remember the details. The water pipes issue was apparently put to rest, but perhaps not to the satisfaction of one side or the other. As far as the NYC issue, yes, that was cause for concern but apparently the work around was some sort of lease deal/agreement.

Regardless, I guess it didn't happen, so Chicago it is.

The Blackhawks are still in the NHL? Or did they get traded to the NL Central?

I'm tired just watching, would love to see another game but Pittsburg looks like toast.

NICE end to the 3rd...Action packed portion of the game...Packerbacker en route to hospital with heart palpitations...Nice to see a game made out of it after it looked wrapped up.

Fluery, not sure how to spell it, but it's a great name for a goalie.

Detroit is dominating -- if they don't win it, it's certainly not because they were outplayed.
