I have not played Westchester. Other better Columbus courses I've played are Blacklick (had a US Open qual on it when I was in college and played it when the rough was up) and Cook's Creek. Took 2 golf classes at OSU, so got to play Scarlet/Gray twice a week for free from it!!!! Although never scored very good on Gray (best was an 85)... just one of those courses that didn't fit my game.
I want to play Scarlet the next time I get back there (if weather allows it). Can get on it from being an OSU alumni. Want to see how hard it plays due to Jack's redo. Supposed to be tougher than it was... and it was a really tough test of golf to start with.
I live 5 mins from Blacklick and work practically across the street from the course. They got a new Super about 7 or 8 years ago and man it has really turned into one of the best public courses in the area for the money. Cooks Creek is anoth great course. Man I'll tell ya Central Ohio has a slew of great golf courses, too bad we have Old Man Winter.
