I don't think you've been paying attention the past eight years. How the feds now pay for things is by borrowing money from China and figuring someone else's kids and grandkids can pay it back with interest.

the feds have their way of getting their way. highway money and drinking age for example.
but really, it would be a bit amusing on the states behalf to suddenly squawk states rights, since they willingly give up plenty so as not to hit their budget.

but i don't like congress being involved in congress, so i sure don't want them in horse racing.
