I know...I'm having a good run...J-honey nearly single-handedly takes out the Yankees on Friday with 4 two out rbi!!! (it was hgh heaven with Pettite and Byrd opposing each other!) Sabathia finally does something going 6 shutout against the Royals and James shooting something like 54 percent from the field in postseason (the game thursday didn't bother me one bit. a sweep by that team was certainly nothing anyone expected...and a 7 game series win is about all I was hoping for...still on track for that at least with a 2-1 lead.) good times in Cleveland for now at least!! Pretty awesome I'd say!!

Correct me if I'm wrong gentleman, but I don't see many games out here in the wilderness...but the game yesterday happened to be on the TV, and in the top of the 9th inning I saw the leadoff guy for the Yankees hit one and someone fielded it ranging far to his right in the hole and made a perfect one hop throw across his body to Casey Blake nailing the quick backup infielder for the Yankees. After reading what I read on here, I must admit I think I'm going blind because reading what I read on here what I saw in the top of the
9th never happens at Progressive field or on any field in America or the Dominican Republic, or anywhere. Am I really going blind?? After this play was made, the next two Yankees got base hits, meaning the defensive play of this individual played a key role in winning the game?? Am I really blind?? Did this really happen?? Or am I just the luckiest person in America to happen to see the one Indian game where an un-named individual did something that two people on here have made it quite apparent he can't do...on multiple occasions they have proclaimed it so. I thought I'd mention it as I am quite certain two individuals who post on here would never, ever mention what happened in the top of the 9th inning as an event that actually happened.

I didn't see any of the game.

I can't afford a tv is why.

But I can't discuss Here's Jhonny with you. ...you think he's a swell defensive ss and I think he's from hell defensively.Let others decide.

There's more Indians stuff here than in the Cleveland Plains Dealer!

That's because they let Terry Neptune talk about 78 different things in his 25 alloted columns.

No, I never said swell. I said he is an average to slightly above average defensive shortstop is what I said...a far cry from hell defensively. His defense is rarely....if ever a hindrance to the team's winning. I do agree that Cabrera would certainly be a better full time "defensive" player at the position by a lot. At worst, however, I think Peralta is a .270/ 20-25 home run guy...so he'd have to be "really" bad defensively to send him away...and he simply isn't a "really" bad defensive player despite your's and Bid's ramblings.

Don't you ever get off it?

He IS bad defensively...watch him fer Gosh sakes...he's bad mainly because of all the balls he can't get to. ...and you're not exactly quoting huge offensive numbers there. SS is a DEFENSIVE position...the most important one in fair territory. The Indians don't understand that and neither do you.
