![]() he does have a point. I think its a fantastic race but whenever a horse wins it, they nearly always want to try to drop down to 10f to boost its stallion CV.. Its a bit like the King George as well, that has barely seen a 3yo in the last 5 years and it has lost alot of its prestigue. It seems like the only 12f race that all owners would sell their granny for is the Arc...

![]() As brock said, Mr Bolger has a point. With so many breeders wanting speed these days, having horses win over 12 furlongs + isn't really thought of as a desirable stat for a potential stallion.
