Given that is was approx $15k last year (for $1) and roughly $30k the year before, I think it goes over... Even if BB, WP and Pyro run 1-2-3 (like SS, Hard Spun and Curlin), I think it will go over.

Actually, it'll be a $.10 superfecta for the first time in the history of the Derby- I just meant in terms of the price quote. I'm guessing similar to last year... $15k for a buck range. Maybe a little higher because of the likely scramble for 3rd and 4th, even if the few top contenders run 1-2.

That's classic! I can tell you right now that I'll be playing 13-2-5-4... it was my badge number when I was a cop and I always play that superfecta on big races (if there's enough horses entered).

I think it's over this year. I think that at least 2 of the top 3 choices will run out of the money, and the difference between the 12-1 horses and the 35-1 horses won't be much.
