I agree. His Tampa race was horrible and even his prep where he beat a terrible field was questionable since his 6f fraction was slower than what 10K claimers went running the same distance that day. Going back to last year, he handled slop and Pyro didn't. And Pyro wasn't going to beat him at 6f. I wanted to play against at the BC, but when it rained it was going to be hard to catch horses like War Pass. To their credit he ran very well that day. The 2yo season is basically to crown a champion miler. It helps to be precocious. They don't always match the kind of horses that have to run 10 furlongs. I actually hope War Pass bounces back and shows some heart.
