Birdstone was a slight colt wasn't he? I would think you a decent sized mare and one with a bit of early foot..

Birdstone is about average size... 15.3 hands. He isn't big, but he isn't that small either. I believe he was a late bloomer, was he not? I think at two he was only around 15 hands, but I could be wrong. Either way, that wouldn't bother me as long as I had a mare that wasn't too small.

As for him passing Smarty... yeah, that sucked, but it wasn't his fault.
