They look a lot like that right now. Arod or Jeter gets hurt, the old guys continue to regress, one of the young pitchers doesnt make the season (which is almost a certainty)...and you are looking at third place. And thats without even mentioning that Rivera was not nearly as dominant last year as he had been.

With that said....who is better at this point, the Mets or Yankees?

Mets because they play in the NL. With Bonds, Mets hands down.
