Son of Giants Causeway Wins Grade 1 on surface other then turf

Maybe I'm out of the loop on some inside info with posters here. But what is the big deal about a Giant's Causeway offspring winning a Grade 1 race. GC is well bred on top and bottom for dirt and grass as well.
