WTF is going on with Chicago cops?

I have a friend who's wife runs a banquet hall. There have only been 2 times that she has had any trouble. Both times it was when she was hosting something for cops. This last time she was punched. When her husband showed up they threatened to arrest him.

I hate to think what would have happened if there weren't any witnesses.
There's a supposed investigation. I'll be surprised if anything comes from it.
I think she will quit her job of 20 yrs before she will ever do anything involving them again.

I'm sure there are tons of stories that haven't been told.

I really never have had a use for them. The one time I called (I woke up to find my car sitting on the ground. My wheels were stolen) the cop accused me of staging the theft.

All they have ever done for me is pull me over because my name ends in a vowel and write speeding tickets.
