Real Quiet hasn't really been a bad sire at all - but he's standing for 5K in Pennsylvania last I heard.
The 3rd place finisher from the '98 Derby - Indian Charlie - clearly turned out to be a success at stud. Ever since his foals starting hitting the track - a certain poster here has made a big effort to show me how utterly crap infested his book of mares are each and every year. He really has consistantly done a very good job at getting some runners every crop.
