Trips where you can make money are often pretty subtle.
A horse that is starting to wind up but get's caught in traffic. Maybe not a block or a steady but signs of a horse that was eager and got momentarily discouraged. Also where there is trouble and the horse does not quit and get a minor award.
Then you have to watch em and hope that the DRF does not make much of a mention. One of my best hits of late was a horse that was winding, clearly got shut off, and the DRF line said...bid flattened. Next time out at HOL with Rafael on board no less went off at over 10-1 I'm a novice but that was particularly satisfying.. like oh my god this this horse is going to roll and the public does not know it..... yes........ I/L
