'88 Private Terms '89 Sunday Silence '90 Pleasant Tap '91 ?? no idea '92 Pine Bluff '93 ?? no idea but definitely not Sea Hero '94 Holy Bull '95 Thunder Gulch funny story: I had been betting at the same OTB down the block from my house for probably 3 years and they never asked for my ID until I tried to cash this ticket, had maybe $25 on his nose. I was 17 at the time, so my dad had to cash it for me. Before that he'd just send me down with our money and bets and they never said a thing. '96 ?? I think Editors Note '97 Silver Charm '98 Victory Gallop '99 Steven Got Even (did he finish yet?) '00 ?? I think my top 3 all finished last '01 Congaree '02 Saarland (I liked Buddha till he scratched) '03 Peace Rules '04 Smarty Jones '05 Afleet Alex '06 Barbaro '07 Street Sense

I really like Afleet Alex but I loved, loved Closing Arguement. I just loved the fact that he hit the board in all of his races and was dead game. While it wasnt on this board, on the other board that I was posting on at the time, I made them sick of hearing his name.
 And freaking Giamaco, cost me the tri AND super. I didnt have him in the 1st spot, only 2nd, 3rd and 4th. I did make money because I had C.A. across the board, and my bestfriend, who was a first time bettor, became a horse racing fan for life as C.A. was racing to the finish line. But boy, the tri and super would have been, in TVG speak, "A Life Changing Payoff".  Did I mention freaking Giamaco......hehe But I was happy for Mike Smith.

The Derby winners I selected correctly were Pleasant Colony, Sunny's Halo, Alysheba, and Strike the Gold. I'm in a bit of a dry spell!! Some of my more memorable miscues were Master David...Buddy Gil...Sweetnorthernsaint...Curlin...Private Emblem....Risen Star...Afleet Alex...Alydar...Jaklin Klugman....Easy Goer etc....I cant' remember every single year however. I just know I haven't been right since Strike the Gold.

Had $50WP on Barbaro and had him in PK4 also, but at last second took him out of PK4..lol wife kicked me in butt all the way home that day.

I'm not saying that you had to be an idiot to like him, though the two are far from mutually exclusive, but that he was the horse that every idiot liked. Fortunately, they are right occasionally as well.
