![]() Hillary is kicking some ass in the early returns.
Maybe that whole last minute choking back tears moment in the late stages was a stroke of genius. I'm waiting for Cannon to chime in though. |

![]() well, yeah, it is....but foreign policy goes hand in hand with it.
really tho, domestic issues seem to be handled more by congress, but the president has always been acknowledged as the pace setter on our foreign affairs. and that goes hand in hand with a HUGE, global economy. i think the economy pretty much is too huge for the pres to fix or screw up, altho they all always tend to grab the praise when it goes well! take the housing market. when the banks were giving loans to all who asked, they had to know it would correct itself. it was a balloon waiting to burst. then when it goes tits up, the banks want the govt to 'do something'. you didn't want the govt to do something when you were careless, but now when you have to pay the piper, it's a different story.... and i digress... i just think people get caught up too much in details, in the mundane, when it comes to electing a president. that's where your local and state reps come into play, the every day business of governing your community and the state. the presidency is different. it's not like people call the ceo when their paycheck has a mistake...
